Method
- Open crescent roll dough, melt butter, and mix cinnamon sugar in a bowl so everything is ready before cooking.
- Unroll the dough and cut into small bite-sized pieces about 1 inch square using a pizza cutter or sharp knife for uniform sizes.
- Place dough pieces on a plate and brush all sides generously with melted butter so they crisp up and hold cinnamon sugar.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes so the temperature is consistent when you add the dough pieces.
- Place buttered dough pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving ½ inch space between each piece for air circulation.
- Air fry at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until puffed and deep golden brown all over.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl while the churro bites cook, using about 1 tablespoon cinnamon per ½ cup sugar.
- Remove hot churro bites from air fryer and immediately toss in cinnamon sugar mixture while still hot and buttery.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately warm with chocolate sauce, caramel, or dulce de leche for dipping.

Notes
Store at room temperature up to 2 days in an airtight container. Brush dough generously with melted butter before cooking so the cinnamon sugar sticks properly after air frying.
