  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes Center cut is best
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For coating
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Adds color
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch Creates the crust
  • ½ cup mayonnaise Full fat works best
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce Thai style
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey Optional for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped For garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat salmon cubes dry with paper towels, then toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and cornstarch until evenly coated.

  3. Arrange salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring pieces do not touch.

  4. Air fry for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey in a medium bowl while the salmon cooks.

  6. Toss the cooked salmon gently in the sauce just before serving and garnish with chives.
