- Set a large nonstick or cast iron pan over medium heat until hot to the touch.
- Place one flour tortilla flat and sprinkle the cheese evenly over one half, then fold the empty side over.
- Transfer the folded tortilla to the hot pan and cook until the bottom is deeply golden brown.
- Turn the quesadilla carefully and toast the second side until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling.
