  • 1 pound fresh strawberries Washed, completely dried, and at room temperature
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate baking bars Finely chopped for even melting
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil Helps thin the chocolate for dipping
  • 2 ounces white chocolate baking bars Melted for the decorative drizzle

Method
 

  1. Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with soft paper towels, ensuring the leaves are also completely dry.

  2. Place the chopped semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in thirty-second intervals, stirring vigorously between each until completely smooth.

  3. Hold each strawberry securely by the stem, submerge it fully into the warm melted chocolate, and let the excess drip off the bottom.

  4. Place the coated fruit onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then drizzle the melted white chocolate over the tops using a small piping bag.
