- Chop the chocolate bars into fine, uniform pieces.
- Heat the heavy whipping cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer around the edges.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat immediately and add the chopped chocolate. Let it sit undisturbed for 2 minutes.
- Whisk the mixture gently from the center outward until it is completely smooth and glossy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, then transfer immediately to a fondue pot or serving bowl.
