  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips For the rich base

Method
 

  1. Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler until smooth, then let cool slightly.

  3. Whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks form.

  5. Spoon into glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure the melted chocolate is cooled to barely warm before folding in the whipped cream. Over-mixing will deflate the dessert.
