Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Spoon and leveled
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder Check expiration date
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk Room temperature
  • 2 large eggs Lightly beaten
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter Melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries Washed and dried well

Method
 

  1. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate pitcher until smooth.

  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently with a spatula until just combined.

  4. Heat a buttered griddle over medium heat, pour a quarter cup of batter, and drop blueberries on top.

Notes
