Ingredients
  

  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls Keep the slab intact
  • 1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced High quality works best
  • 8 slices provolone cheese Mild or sharp
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted For the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion Adds texture and flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Plus more for au jus
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds Optional garnish
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix Prepared according to package

  • 1 serrated knife

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half using a serrated knife.
  3. Place the bottom buns in the pan and layer with half the cheese, all the roast beef, then the remaining cheese.

  4. Whisk together melted butter, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.

  5. Place the top buns on the sliders and brush generously with the butter glaze.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with prepared au jus on the side for dipping.

Notes
