  • 4 ounces blanco or silver tequila 100% agave preferred
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice Freshly squeezed only
  • 2 ounces orange liqueur Triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar Adjust to taste
  • 2 cups ice cubes Solid freezer cubes
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt For rimming the glasses
  • 1 whole lime Cut into wedges for garnish

Method
 

  1. Rub a freshly cut lime wedge firmly along the rim of each serving glass to generously moisten the outer edge, then dip into coarse salt.
