Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter Softened to room temperature
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour Spooned and leveled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar Sifted if clumpy
  • 3 cups mixed fresh berries Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, washed and dried completely

  • 1 Electric mixer For creaming butter and making frosting
  • 2 Mixing bowls For dough and frosting

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy, then mix in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Fold in the flour gently until a soft dough forms.
  4. Press the dough evenly into a circle on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 14 minutes until edges are golden.

  5. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until completely smooth.

  6. Spread the frosting over the completely cooled crust and arrange the dry berries on top.
