- Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and no pink remains.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, heavy cream, mustard powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until smooth.
- Arrange half of the bread cubes in a greased 9x13 baking dish, then top with half the sausage, spinach, and cheese.
- Repeat the layers once more, then slowly pour the egg mixture evenly over the entire dish.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the bread to soak.
- Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 50-55 minutes until the center is set and golden brown.
