Ingredients
  

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz) Do not follow box instructions
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Block style works best
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted Cooled slightly
  • 1 large egg Room temperature
  • 24 Hershey's Kisses Unwrapped

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 2 Baking sheets
  • 1 Parchment paper
  • 1 Cookie scoop Medium size

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese and melted butter in a large bowl until smooth.

  3. Add the egg and cake mix, mixing on low speed until just combined.

  4. Scoop dough into 1-tablespoon balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers look slightly soft.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
