1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz) Do not follow box instructions
4 oz cream cheese, softened Block style works best
½ cup unsalted butter, melted Cooled slightly
1 large egg Room temperature
24 Hershey's Kisses Unwrapped

1 Electric mixer
2 Baking sheets
1 Parchment paper
1 Cookie scoop Medium size

Method

Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Beat softened cream cheese and melted butter in a large bowl until smooth.
Add the egg and cake mix, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Scoop dough into 1-tablespoon balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers look slightly soft.
Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
