Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed Look for brown spots

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup sour cream Or plain Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 drops pink gel food coloring For the swirl
  • ½ cup powdered sugar For the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon milk Plus more if needed
  • 2 tablespoon heart sprinkles For decoration

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan generously.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl, then whisk in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt gently until just combined with no flour streaks.

  4. Divide the batter evenly into two bowls and tint one half with pink gel food coloring.
  5. Alternate scoops of yellow and pink batter into the pan, then swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely, then whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze and pour over the loaf.
  8. Top immediately with heart sprinkles and slice to serve.
