Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats Do not use quick oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds Raw and unsalted
  • ½ cup coconut oil Melted
  • ½ cup maple syrup Pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract High quality for best flavor
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt To balance sweetness

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl For tossing ingredients
  • 1 rimmed baking sheet For baking the granola

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Stir the rolled oats, sliced almonds, and kosher salt together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract over the dry mixture and toss thoroughly to coat.

Notes

Store the completely cooled granola in an airtight glass jar at room temperature for up to two weeks. Do not stir the granola while it bakes or cools, or you will break the clusters.
